ProCare Therapy is currently hiring a passionate and dedicated self-contained teacher for a rewarding opportunity in the Dearborn, MI area.

As a self-contained teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive learning environment for students with special needs. We are seeking a candidate experienced in working with diverse learners, providing individualized instruction tailored to meet their unique needs. This position requires a strong understanding of special education practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student growth and development. The ideal candidate collaborates effectively with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.

Job Details:

• Full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week
• Pay range: $38 to $42 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education in Michigan (ASD endorsement preferred)
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ability to develop and implement effective plans
• Preferred experience working with students with ASD or similar classroom environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
